Scope In this research, we investigate the interactions between ovalbumine (OVA) and hematite (Fe2O3) in model paint systems through a DSC approach. Paint constituents undergo physico-chemical modifications the mechanism of which is worth studying in order to propose a model for their chemical and physical stability and to plan a correct procedure for their conservation. [1,2] In particular our research is focused on the study of the interactions between a proteic binding medium and an inorganic pigment used in historical paints.

Abstract
Scope In this research, we investigate the interactions between ovalbumine (OVA) and hematite (Fe2O3) in model paint systems through a DSC approach. Paint constituents undergo physico-chemical modifications the mechanism of which is worth studying in order to propose a model for their chemical and physical stability and to plan a correct procedure for their conservation. [1,2] In particular our research is focused on the study of the interactions between a proteic binding medium and an inorganic pigment used in historical paints.Pubblicazioni consigliate
