The paper considers the possibility of using an MS/DI system for the confirmatory analysis of aflatoxins. The first experiments of which the results are given below relate to Aflatoxin B1, and the initial results indicate that this new system of analysis has a fair degree of applicability , subject to any studies that may have to carried out regarding the statistical significance of the responses.
