FEED 2023: 8th International Feed Conference ‘Present and Future Challenges’, October 9–10, 2023, Milano, Italy

Animal feed has a social responsibility to contribute to more sustainable food production systems. Recent advances, challenges, opportunities in the field of feed science and technology are presented every two years at the International Feed Conference. The purpose of the conference is to bring together scientists, researchers, policymakers from governmental and non-governmental organizations and people from industry at a single event because the subject requires a multidisciplinary approach. The 8th International Feed Conference was held in Milano. The conference focused on two main topics: Circular feed and additives and Feed quality, safety, authentication and traceability. The “FEED 2023: 8th International Feed Conference “Present and Future Challenges” article collection provides an overview of the discussions during this conference and presents important directions for future research in animal feed.
