The paper describes some cases of signifiers linked to the spinning top that, according to the dictionary of the Milanese dialect written by Francesco Cherubini, would find the reason for their meaning in the sounds and noises, especially of animals, present in nature.
L'articolo presenta alcuni casi di significanti del dialetto milanese legati al gioco della trottola che, secondo il dizionario compilato da Francesco Cherubini, troverebbero la ragione del loro significato nei suoni e nei rumori, specie degli animali, presenti in natura.
