This survey explores expectations, perception of knowledge improvement, employment, professional development and upgrading in a group of students and graduates of the Master of Science in Reha-bilitation (MScR), University of Milan (UNIMI). All students enrolled from the A.Y. 08/09 to 16/17 (n=213) have been included and interviewed with three questionnaires administered at registration (T0), graduation (T1) and after one year (T2). The interviewees were arbitrarily divided into junior (age <40) and senior (≥40). Fifty-eight% of the enrolled students answered (population T0-T1). At T2, 68.8% of the T0-T1 population responded. We found a decreasing of the average age of those registered in MScR, a greater differentiation of the rehabilitative professional profiles enrolled in the program, a reduction of the expectation of up-grading, a perception of increasing knowledge at T1, especially pedagogical. Employment increased from 58% (T0) to 93% (T1); according to the interviewees, the MScR played an important role in that change. Ninety-six% were satisfied. One year after graduation (T2), 43% improve/stabilize their working conditions. Perceived decision-making autonomy increases from 33% (T0) to 55% (T2). Nineteen% continued their studies (50% Master; 25% Doctorate). Further research is needed, to understand how to transform/improve postgraduate training, accord-ing to MScR students’ needs and careers.
