Abstract

This work discusses the thesis, already presented by the author, of the attribution of the texts of manuscripts Riccardiano 2317 and Riccardiano 2318 to Giovanni Boccaccio. In which we have a translation into vernacular of Andreas Cappellanus'' De Amore, 2 short love letters, 4 sonetti, 1 ballata with prose exposition, and 2 beautiful proses. Together with the characteristics which are specific to the texts, are introduced the hypotheses on the date of composition and the intended recipient of the translation; are also highlighted some similarities with the glosses of the translation of Ovid''s Ars Amandi, already attributed to Boccaccio, and other Boccaccio''s texts.
