La cura del teatro. Tomi Janezic

The theatrical documentary is about a journey around the figure of the Slovenian theater director Tomi Janezic, from his presence in Campi Salentina for the Mundi Festival, Balkan Crossroads, in Lubjana, in Krusce and at the Napoli Teatro Festival. Moments of psychodrama workshops set up between Italy and Slovenia alternate with fragments of the award-winning show "Il gabbiano" produced by the National Theater of Novi Sad (Serbia). Narrated by Anna Monteverdi who followed the director for three years, the documentary was made in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce. Four students of the Academy took part in the filming of Campi Salentina. The images and editing are by Alessandro Bronzini with Gabriele Rosato. The first public screening in a non-definitive version of the documentary was made in Krusce within the Psychodrama Festival; the first European took place at the Cité Universitaire (Paris) during the first European Conference of the Theater Network (EASTAP) curated by Sorbonne Nouvelle (October 2018). Il documentario teatrale propone un percorso intorno alla figura del regista teatrale sloveno Tomi Janezic, dalla sua presenza a Campi Salentina per il Festival Mundi, Crocevia dei Balcani, a Lubjana, a Krusce e al Napoli Teatro Festival. Momenti dei laboratori di psicodramma attivati tra Italia e Slovenia si alternano a frammenti del pluri premiato spettacolo Il gabbiano, prodotto dal Teatro Nazionale di Novi Sad (Serbia). Narrato in prima persona da Anna Monteverdi che ha seguito il regista per tre anni, il documentario è stato realizzato in collaborazione con l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce. Quattro studenti dell’Accademia hanno partecipato alle riprese di Campi Salentina.
