The essay proves that Dante's way to create prologues, preambles, prefaces in the first cantica of the Commedia is quite different from the way to create Introductions in Purgatorio and in Paradiso. This development denotes of course the author's improvement in creating the afterworld; and denotes also the progress of Dante's self-awareness to be a prophet that must find the way to encourage and invite the entire population of Christians.
