Tuberous Sclerosis (TS) is one of the leading genetic structural causes of epilepsy, with a high incidence (about 85%) in patients affected by epilepsy, often refractory to antiepileptic treatment. The aim of this study is to review the clinical characteristics of epilepsy in TS patients followed up since 2000 at the San Paolo Hospital TS Center in Milan. Patients were divided into three subgroups: seizure free (39%), drug resistant (34%) and without epilepsy (24%); patients who had a single seizure (3%) were not included.
