This paper focuses on a traineeship experience for students of the Master Degree Course in Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Milano Bicocca. After an introduction on the complexity related to the profile of adult educators, the paper will discuss the fundamental assumptions that oriented the provisional traineeship structure and the role of tutors. After the critical process of evaluation of a pilot course, the paper will focus on the transition from a traineeship with a research-based approach to a guidance model with a blended-learning one.
