Developmental differences in the Denver Developmental Screening Test items were demonstrated between Denver and Milan samples of children. The Milan children were generally more advanced than Denver children, especially for items acquired during the first two years of life, while they were slower in some items especially after three and half years of age. However, a statistical comparison between the Denver and the Milan samples of children is impossible, because for evaluation of the results in the Denver children no logistic statistical method was used. Furthermore, in the Milan children a smaller variability in the age of achievement of items was found.

Abstract
Developmental differences in the Denver Developmental Screening Test items were demonstrated between Denver and Milan samples of children. The Milan children were generally more advanced than Denver children, especially for items acquired during the first two years of life, while they were slower in some items especially after three and half years of age. However, a statistical comparison between the Denver and the Milan samples of children is impossible, because for evaluation of the results in the Denver children no logistic statistical method was used. Furthermore, in the Milan children a smaller variability in the age of achievement of items was found.Pubblicazioni consigliate
