The production and occurrence of mycotoxins in feeds and the effect of aflatoxin, ochratoxin, fusarium toxin and citrinin in chickens and turkeys are reviewed. Methods of controlling mycotoxins and the necessity for legislation on acceptable limits of aflatoxin and other mycotoxins in feeds are discussed.
