Ag +, Cu + and Na + diffusion were determined in AgI-Ag oxysalt high conductivity glasses 4AgI:Ag 2 WO 4, 3AgI:Ag 2MoO 4 and 4AgI:Ag 2O.B 2O 3. The first and the third were investigated at various temperatures whereas for the second glass, due to its thermal instability, only room temperature data could be obtained. Similar diffusion coefficient values were found for Ag and Cu throughout the temperature range investigated for each kind of glass. Significant differences between D Ag and D Na were interpreted on the ground of the short range structure proposed some years ago for these materials. The room temperature Haven ratios seem suggestive of a cooperative transport mechanism
