The current status of serial planktics is discussed: so far there are 29 genera in total. Twenty-seven genera have been described by Georgescu and Georgescu and co-authors, 11 genera have single species, 10 have 2 species. The genus attribution of he species globulosa and reussi are discussed using the type materials. Globoheterohelix paraglobulosa presents a large proloculus which is the main feature for genus and species identification. However, we have observed a very high variability among type material and specimens found in Tanzania and in other sites. Further clarification using morphometric analysis and emendation are needed to see how these populations differ from globulosa. The lineage from Huberella praehuberi to H. huberi can be followed in the Tanzania material and is here presented.

Abstract
The lineage from Huberella praehuberi to H. huberi can be followed in the Tanzania material and is here presented.Pubblicazioni consigliate
