The project "CHEESEALP- Innovation for dairy farming and dairy production in mountains" aims to show innovation proposals for farms located in mountain areas. Thanks to the funding of “GAL Vallebrembana 2020” and the technical support of the “Regional Association of Breeders of Lombardy (ARAL)”, an “information” and “demonstration” activity on agro-livestock and dairy issues characteristic for the mountain was carried out. The aim is to disseminate good practices and innovative technologies. Through several social channels (Web site, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube), were disclosed information about the mountain livestock landscape in Italy, the problems of the production of fodder, milk and cheese in the mountains, and were presented events, courses, webinars and other initiatives proposed by different realities on the regional and national territory. About 653 followers (464 Instagram and 189 Facebook) monitored the project and its 323 posts published. Moreover 23 video interviews were produced (overall with more than 2000 views in September 2022) to give voice to farmers, cheesemakers and researchers, making them a possible example through the stories of their management problems, strategies to solve them and the techniques used in the different mountain realities.
