Les verbes dans la lexicographie juridique française

This paper examines the entries of seven printed legal dictionaries currently availableon the French market, with a focus on how they include and handle specialized legalverbs. We begin by outlining the target audiences and the intended purposes ofthese dictionaries — factors likely to shape their content. Then, we present bothquantitative data on the verbs featured in each dictionary, and qualitative insightsbased on a limited but representative sample of verbs, in order to compare how eachdictionary describes their use.
