Per una lettura di Amante, a sta fredura di Leonardo Giustinian

The contribution proposes a reading of Amante, a sta fredura, an emblematic text of the corpus of “canzonette” by Leonardo Giustinian. The analysis highlights the bipartite structure of the ballad and the originality with which the author manages the amorous contrast, intertwining topoi, genres and different stylistic registers. Particular attention is paid to the dramatic component, investigated through the chronotope, gestures and the use of a parte. Finally, some hypotheses on the models are put forward, tracing a possible hypotext in Boccaccio’s Ninfale fiesolano.

Il contributo propone una lettura di Amante, a sta fredura, testo emblematico del corpus delle “canzonette” di Leonardo Giustinian. L’analisi evidenzia la struttura bipartita della ballata e l’originalità con cui l’autore gestisce il contrasto amoroso, intrecciando topoi, generi e registri stilistici diversi. Un’attenzione particolare è rivolta alla componente drammatica, indagata attraverso il cronotopo, la gestualità e l’impiego degli a parte. Si avanzano infine alcune ipotesi sui modelli, rintracciando un possibile ipotesto nel Ninfale fiesolano di Boccaccio.
