Présence et traitement des collocations verbales dans les vocabulaires juridiques français

This paper is intended to provide insights into the treatment of verbal collocations in French legal vocabularies, formed around two classes of objects : < PROCEDURE > [action, prosecution, trial, recourse] and < LEGAL ACT > [complaint, claim, request, indictment] that we have inventoried in three French lexicographi- cal works : the second edition of Vocabulaire du juriste débutant (Lerat 2017a), Dictionnaire phraséologique plurilingue du droit (Lerat 2017b), and Dictionnaire des cooccurrences (Beauchesne 2001). Based on this corpus, we propose to list, by comparison, the verbal collocations encountered in the three French legal voca- bularies, in order to highlight the usefulness of a future lexicographic work dedi- cated exclusively to verbal collocations. Ultimately, we emphasize the fact that the interest in the lexicographical analysis of verbal collocations is fully justified by its extension to related fields such as legal translation or the teaching metho- dology of specialized languages, namely of legal language.
