Attraverso le problematiche costituzionali dell’e-voting nella duplice prospettiva del voto deliberativo ed elettivo

This paper aims to investigate opportunities and critical issues on the digiti- zation of voting from a twofold perspective. First, it will ask whether electronic delib- erative voting can be a tool to make parliamentary work more efficient and, second, whether electronic elective voting can strengthen participation and simultaneously re- duce the abstention rate. The investigation will be mainly focused on the Italian system, but Switzerland will be referred to as a country for comparison because of very differ- ent choices regarding e-voting.
