Siberian Sturgeon farming is important both from the production point of view (caviar and meat production) and from the biological point of view, as it may contribute to the natural stocks re-population. Studying and comprehending the mechanisms that are involved in the muscular development and growth in farmed fish are very important in identifying farming strategies that may lead to a growth increase and a reduction of development dysfunctions. Environmental factors, such as temperature, may have an important role on the economic aspects of fish farming, for what concerns growth rate, body composition and final product quality. Little is known about the environmental influence on muscle development in bony fishes other than teleost species such as Sturgeons. Taking into account that it is an endangered species, studying the influence of temperature in Siberian Sturgeon larval development, may have a positive impact on the final product quality but also on the success in farming for re-population purposes.

Abstract
Taking into account that it is an endangered species, studying the influence of temperature in Siberian Sturgeon larval development, may have a positive impact on the final product quality but also on the success in farming for re-population purposes.Pubblicazioni consigliate
