The ASBA (Anxiety, Stress, Brain-friendly museum, Approach) project aims to address the issue of stress and anxiety by introducing a new approach through the Brain-Friendly Museum (BFM). The BFM is an institution that respects human cognitive and emotional processes and aims to preserve, disseminate, and appreciate our tangible and intangible heritage. This paper presents the philosophy and objectives of the ASBA project, which is unique in its field and provides a significant advancement of knowledge beyond the current state of the art. The modern museum plays an essential role in society in the learning and health sectors. By using active educational methods and visitor involvement, the cultural heritage becomes a useful tool for learning, promoting soft skills, and life skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative thinking. By combining the quality of the museum experience and mental wellbeing, the BFM approach offers a new approach to addressing stress and anxiety.
