A case report is presented of a young athletics coach with recurrent pubalgia not relieved by prolonged conservative treatment. Imaging suggested the presence of an osteoid osteoma of acetabulum, a quite rare localization, and histological findings confirmed the suspicion. Diagnostic and surgical approach-related problems are discussed.
