Abstract
The recent reform of style and reasoning of the Court of Cassation judgments challenges a peculiar model of judgment, widely consolidated and known, in the name of greater clarity and accessibility. The traditionally laconic and formal style of the French apex court has been replaced by direct and structured writing that, in some cases, is enriched with in-depth reasoning. The present work briefly illustrates the traditional characteristics of French superior judgments and their origin, the changes introduced and the criticisms directed at the new model, as well as the challenges for the system's sustainability.Pubblicazioni consigliate
