Virtual reality is a new tool for teaching in chemical sciences. The University of Milan last year proposed the VIRTCHEM international project "The VIRtual Immersive Education for CHEMistry and Chemical Engineering" promoted by the 4EU+ Alliance of some European universities. The students traveled from the atom and the molecules, to the reactions, to the industrial chemical plant.
