A novel kind of nanoparticles, the three-shell A-B-A structures, was obtained by inverse deposition of B atoms above A cores. The A-B-A structures were grown depending on the structure of the initial A core and on temperature. Results indicate a novel possibility for controlling the chemical ordering in structures at the nanoscale level.
