This paper analyses the role of women in Abrahamic religions. The core idea is that the three Revelations presents a basic principle of equality between men and women from which the religious laws detached during centuries of sociological and historical evolutions within society. The paper gives an overview of the legal status of woman in Jewish, Catholic and Islamic law in order to family issues and the access to functions related with management of the Sacred.
