Our work was aimed at adapting an inquiry-based activity about electromagnetic radiation for high-school students, initially designed to be done in person, but never tested, to be able to use it even in a distance learning situation. We created an online learning path with most of the Inquiry-Based Science Education (IBSE) main features. We have not only transposed the original activity online, but we did an in-depth and systematic job of reorganizing the contents and analyzing the different path phases didactic effectiveness in a remote-working perspective. A first sperimentation with 12th and 13th grade students gave us positive results. In this article we will present our activity, its reorganisation and the first outcomes of the sperimentation.
In questo lavoro ci siamo posti l’obiettivo di adattare un laboratorio inquiry based sulle radiazioni elettromagnetiche per la scuola superiore, inizialmente pensato per esser svolto in presenza, ma mai sperimentato, in modo da renderlo fruibile anche in modalit`a a distanza. Il risultato `e stato un percorso didattico online che ha mantenuto le caratteristiche principali della metodologia Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE). L’attivit`a non `e stata solo trasposta online, ma ha richiesto un lavoro approfondito e metodico di riorganizzazione dei contenuti e l’analisi dell’efficacia didattica di ogni fase del percorso in una prospettiva di lavoro da remoto. Una prima sperimentazione con studenti di quarta e quinta superiore ha dato esiti positivi. In questo articolo presenteremo il nostro percorso, la sua riorganizzazione e i primi risultati dalla sperimentazione.
