Il volto ambiguo della “questione catalana” tra diritto e politica: dalle elezioni regionali del 21 dicembre 2017 agli incerti sviluppi della più stretta attualità

This paper aims at analysing the difficult evolution of Catalonia’s institutional life in the very last months, from the celebration of regional elections on 21st December 2017 to the political and constitutional uncertainties which consequently grew up later. Electoral results have thus to be read alongside the judicial investigation opened against the deposed and self-exiled President Carles Puigdemont (and other members of his Government) and those sentences of the Spanish Constitutional Court which prevented him to be “virtually” invested, in order to discuss the interferences between fundamental rights and the prosecution of the serious crimes which arose from the proclamation of independence on 27th October 2017
