The article calls into question the traditional identification of the manuscript of the Apocolocyntosis employed by the Dutch humanist Hadrianus Junius with V, codex Valentianensis 411, one of the main witnesses of Seneca's satire; it analyzes Junius' annotations to Seneca's Apocolocyntosis printed in the 1557 edition curated by Celio Secondo Curione along with other paratextual material, and reports passages of a letter sent by Junius to the printer Herwagen.
