This essay focuses on the digital live performance of Alexander Eisenach’s Anthropos, Tyrann (Ödipus), a play which points out the responsibilities of Anthropos towards the environment, the Earth and its whole population, but also deals with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. The live streaming of the première, which took place during the German lockdown in February 2021, and the use of a 360 camera allow an analysis of the dramatic limits as well as of the possibilities this technical solution offers.
