The essay offers a synthesis of the presence of Dante's work in literature and in particular in French poetry of the second half of the twentieth century, between production and translation (Risset, Bonnefoy). The analysis leads to verify a reception that oscillates between oblivion and prefiguration. In the poetry of the "extrême contemporain", on the other hand, Dante has a different fortune. As proof, two works are analyzed, respectively by Dominique Fourcade and Brice Bonfanti, in which respectively Dante plays the role of interpreter of the Modern and precursor of a utopian future.

Abstract
The essay offers a synthesis of the presence of Dante's work in literature and in particular in French poetry of the second half of the twentieth century, between production and translation (Risset, Bonnefoy). The analysis leads to verify a reception that oscillates between oblivion and prefiguration. In the poetry of the "extrême contemporain", on the other hand, Dante has a different fortune. As proof, two works are analyzed, respectively by Dominique Fourcade and Brice Bonfanti, in which respectively Dante plays the role of interpreter of the Modern and precursor of a utopian future.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
