This forum aims to explore some aspect of the complex relation between law and gender. In particular it seeks to examine whether and how the law can help to eliminate the gender inequalities that still permeate our societies. This problem is addressed by questioning the past in order to devising new legal solutions, especially with respect to sectors in which gender discriminations are more strong – such as family, violence, workplace, religious and institutional contexts.

Abstract
