A survey ofthe necropolislocated on a sandstone outcropadjacenttothe Fewet oasis provided information on 1329 tumuli covering the entire course ofGaramantian hi story. The resulting database is here analysed in order to provide a typology ofthe stone structures, a chronology ofthe cairns and a reconstruction ofthe mortuary landscape and funerary practices at Fewetfrom the Late/Final Pastoral through the Garamantian period.
