This article aims to analyse Diamela Eltit's peculiar reflection on the global world and its pathologies. In her novels, the author traces a series of figures that disrupt the imaginary of the globalization, make explicit areas of dissidence and show possible lines of escape. Eltit's 'itinerant thinking' is made concrete through three movements on the margins: excavation, cracking and inhabiting, which well express the action of the protagonists of three novels: Los trabajadores de la muerte (1998); Mano de obra (2002) and Sumar (2018), dissident citizens who impose their presence and difference on the textual plot and mark an alternative horizon of integration and solidarity.

Abstract
This article aims to analyse Diamela Eltit's peculiar reflection on the global world and its pathologies. In her novels, the author traces a series of figures that disrupt the imaginary of the globalization, make explicit areas of dissidence and show possible lines of escape. Eltit's 'itinerant thinking' is made concrete through three movements on the margins: excavation, cracking and inhabiting, which well express the action of the protagonists of three novels: Los trabajadores de la muerte (1998); Mano de obra (2002) and Sumar (2018), dissident citizens who impose their presence and difference on the textual plot and mark an alternative horizon of integration and solidarity.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
