The "Dictionnaire enjoué des cultures africaines" (Cheerful dictionary of African cultures, 2019), co-written by Alain Mabanckou and Abdourahman Waberi, represents an original archive of the African continent, which values its strengths and sheds light on its myths. Il "Dictionnaire enjoué des cultures africaines" (Dizionario allegro delle culture africane, 2019), scritto in collaborazione con Alain Mabanckou e Abdourahman Waberi, rappresenta un archivio originale del continente africano, che ne valorizza i punti di forza e fa luce sui suoi miti. L'autore si concentra sui termini che si riferiscono specificamente al Corno d'Africa, da termini spaziali come Addis Abeba a termini storici come la battaglia di Adwa. Oltre a termini che descrivono questa zona del continente attraverso la vita e le opere dei suoi intellettuali di spicco, come Nuruddin Farah e Haile Gerima.
