Dal manoscritto Vienna, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, 1490. Un nuovo testimone della «Kurzfassung u» della Epistola Presbiteri Iohannis e del pitacium contro il Filioque attestato da Gerhoch di Reichersberg

The manuscript Vienna, ÖNB 1490 (Petrus Lombardus, Collectanea in Epistolas Pauli), includes in the final sheet two short additions by different hands: a version brevior of the Epistola Presbiteri Iohannis, similar to the one transmitted in the codex Munich, BSB, clm 19411; and a Latin translation of three items on the Filioque, extracted from the Κεφαλαιώδεις by the Greek theologian Nicholas of Methone, already known from a mention by Gerhoch of Reichersberg. For both texts, the fragments of the Viennese manuscipts appear to be relevant witnesses.
