The paper provides a mapping of the studies about the development of Internet Linguistics in Russia in the last fifteen years. Thanks to the analysis of many materials, the article describes the main lines of the research, which is oriented towards the investigation about the relationship between the development of the Internet and the use of new forms of Russian language.
