The primary prevention before and after the orthodontic therapy is very important and the dental hygenist is the specialist that works in collaboration with the orthodontist and the surgeon in all the phases of the therapy. The role of dental hygenist is very important for the application of the protocols but also for the motivation. The dental hygenist has a fondamental position in orthodontic and orthognatic surgery prevention.
