The essay focuses on Alberto Burri, artist who was one of the main artist of the second half of Twentieth-Century, with Fontana. After a short part on the complicated relationship between Burri and the City of Milan since the disassembly of Teatro Continuo at the end of '80s, the text analizes the features of his research thanks to works in collection.
Il saggio affronta in breve la figura di Alberto Burri, artista che insieme a Fontana ha segnato l’arte italiana del secondo Novecento. Dopo un breve cenno ai difficili rapporti tra l’artista e Milano in seguito allo smantellamento del Teatro Continuo alla fine degli anni ‘80, il saggio analizza le caratteristiche della sua ricerca attraverso gli esempi delle opere in collezione.
