This paper presents first results of an ongoing project devoted to the analysis and virtualization of the analog electronic devices of the “Studio di Fonologia Musicale”, one of the European centres of reference for the production of electroacoustic music in the 1950’s and 1960’s. After a brief summary of the history of the Studio, the paper dis- cusses a particularly representative musical work produced at the Studio, Scambi by Henri Pousseur, and it presents initial results on the analysis and simulation of the electronic device used by Pousseur in this composition, and the ongoing work finalized at developing an installation that re-creates such electronic lutherie.
