The article re-establishes on the basis of material from the archive of the Canton Vaud the biography of the Socialist-Revolutionary Mikhail Iulianovich Morozov (1872-1965). As a participant of the Revolution of 1905 Morozov was forced to emigrate in 1907 into the USA, then he settled down in 1909 in Lausanne, where he was engaged in the commerce of typewriters and calculators. Morozov was closely acquainted with a number of prominent representatives of the Russian diaspora in Switzerland in the 1910s - 1930s (N.A. Gertsen, F.I. Rodichev, N.A. Ul'ianov), he kept a correspondence with the SR politician E.E. Lazarev in Prague. The editorial archive of the Parisian review "Contemporary Annals", now deposited in Leeds Russian Archive, contains a quite significant correspondence of Morozov with one of the review's editors, V.V. Rudnev, covering the years 1936-1939; these letters provided additional features to Morozov's portrait.

Abstract
Rudnev, covering the years 1936-1939; these letters provided additional features to Morozov's portrait.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
