The recent book of Gianmarco Gometz “Electronic Democracy. Theory and techniques”, through a deep and frank analysis, reveals the limits and the weaknesses of the idea of e-democracy, and deflate the illusion that the use of ICT in the deliberative procedures can itself strengthen (or even regenerate) contemporary democracies.
