Abstract
Epigraphs in André Gide’s Les Faux-monnayeurs are extracted and judged side by side with the narrator’s verdicts about the various characters. Given the subtle similarities between the moral essence of the epigraphs and the narrator’s ethics, the former are read as witticisms by the narrator himself.File in questo prodotto:
