Overkill and homosexuality : report of a case of homicide commited by multiple external injuries

Introduction: the authors describe a case of homicide of an homosexual foreign man who had been working in Milan for six months. The victim, that had been giving hospitality to two foreigners, was found in the bathroom of his flat, with hands and feet gagged to a chair, an adhesive tape on his face and lowered trousers. Materials and Methods: the cause of death, determinated with postmortem and pathological analyses, was identified as multiple external injuries represented by contusive head lesions and external suffocation. Results and conclusions: this homicide can be included in overkill cases.
