Starting from Ladmiral’s theory of the literary translation (and from his famous distinction between "ciblistes" and "sourciers") this paper focuses in the first section on the almost insuperable difficulty of translating Hellenistic epigrams. The second section of the paper discusses three epigrams (Callimachus 19 Pf., Posisippus 14 and 96 AB), suggesting possible solutions for their Italian translation.

Abstract
Starting from Ladmiral’s theory of the literary translation (and from his famous distinction between "ciblistes" and "sourciers") this paper focuses in the first section on the almost insuperable difficulty of translating Hellenistic epigrams.
