Strutture formali nei frammenti della commedia attica antica

In this paper I discuss problems and methodology which must be taken into consideration if we try to understand which part of the comic structure a fragment of the Attic Old Comedy has been taken from. The potentially useful indicators are: statements in the quoting source, metre, subject matter, Aristophanic parallels; working on these indications it is possible, at least in several cases, to formulate sensible hypotheses.
