Abstract
In the early witnesses of Góngora’s letrillas, divergences in classification show the problematic attempts to distinguish between satirical and burlesque poems. If hybridism causes confusion, the suppression or addition of stanzas can alter the register of the text. Some variants arise from the complexity of allusive language, in a corpus where the popular resonances are mixed with grotesque caricatures, witty jokes, parody and ironic devices. In different enunciative situations, verbal humour of the speaker creates a carnivalesque subversion, but the laughter does not hide sarcastic denunciation of social ills.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
