This Article briefly describes the history of online holocaust denial forum and websites, moving from the first BBSs in the united States of America until the current era of social networks and the deep web. After the analysis of the reasons why the Internet is so important for the deniers and for their propaganda activities, the Article identifies some particularly interesting means of defense: the use of counterspeech, the application of the law and an advanced use of technology and algorithms to detect and automatically manage online contents.
