The present work proposes an intercultural pragmalinguistic didactive activity about politeness which can be observed while managing disagreement. Two systems are compared, the Italian and the Spanish one. The activity, due to its double value, can be defined as a «researching-learning» activity. For students, the FLT class becomes a space in which, besides carrying out an L2 linguistic-functional study, they start to develop pragmalinguistic competence. At the same time, professors have the possibility to collect politeness data to work on models that allow to show cultural relativism.
