This volume is the second part of a project which aims at exploring the last boundaries of the interdisciplinary studies concerning both legal theory and philosophy of language. TheT – while the first part of the same project is represented by the book Pragmatics and Law: Philosophical Perspective (Springer, 2016). Here, using the most sophisticated tools available in the international debate, a group of experts in pragmatics, sociolinguistics, cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence and legal theory engage problems concerning the relationship between language and law, in order to highlight the salient features of both phenomena.
